How limousine companies can survive at the age of uber?

Running limousine businesses for 25 years teaching you how hard it could be before it getting better.

So like any other challenge uber is just one more.

So the key to survive is flexibility. What I mean is Lower your rates if possible and take trips that are not so appealing but this way you can get good customers that appreciate your service.

But the main thing is networking. You need to be connected to as many limousine operators as possible. Farm out when you busy and farm in when they need you. Keep your cost low as possible as fewer drivers and fewer cars as possible and make a small profit fit on farm out. This is how you can stay in the game and even be very profitable.

10 Tips to Rent Even a Limo Cheap: How to Get Discount Car Rentals

There is competitive marketing and cutthroat competition in the business world today more than any other time in history. The Internet has enlarged the marketplace right into your living room and even your bed room. You carry most business shops in your mobile phone. Yet you need a one-on-one interaction to seal some deals. You can’t really predict whether the deal you’re closing will benefit you or not. When in doubt, stop and reflect again. Don’t just go on with the deal just to avoid all the hassle of inquiring for more economic alternatives, or discounts. This also applies to car rentals.

It’s hard to call anything a cheap car rental. Discount car rentals are not very common. Discount car rentals could simply mean you pay less for something less. And sometimes when you pay less for a car rental, you end up with something that looks uncomfortable for up your mission. It’s hard to come up with a budget friendly rental. So how do you get a discount car rental these days? Well here are a few tips to keep your car rentals cheap – to boost the value of your money car rental wise – even if every other factor is making it expensive.

First, make early reservations for a car rental. Try to make reservations as early as possible. Some car rental companies give discounts or free upgrades for customers who reserve their cars early.

Second, reserve your car rental over the internet sites instead of over the counter ones. Most rental firms have internet only discounts that can save you a lot of money. Look up the rental firm that has the greatest discount for the same value. Internet discounts could be very beneficial for you. And remember, cheap car rentals can be achieved by your being witty. Put discounts like these to your advantage and you’re sure to save a lot.

Third, if you can, always rent from the same Car Company. Car rental firms give you cheap car rentals – including discounts, coupons, free upgrades, and sometimes even miles – for your frequently renting their cars. They’re most likely to give discounts or free upgrades if you always rent with them.

Four, to get your rental cheaper, pick up your car early in the morning. Get there just as the shop is opening. There could be a shortage in the economy cars, and you’ll probably get a free or a marked down upgrade when they can’t give you the car you reserved.

Five, ask the car rentals if you can exchange your flyers miles for car rental miles. Ask them if you could get a discount car rental in exchange for your frequent flyer miles. This is especially useful when your flyer’s miles is about to expire, instead of just letting it go to waste, get a cheap car rental for it.

Six, one way to get cheap car rentals is to try to get the most out of your rental. Most car rentals require you to fill the tank when you return it. So on your way to returning the rented car, fill it up with the cheapest type of gas you could find, you’ll save more than when they make you pay for the gas at an inflated rate.

Seven, to get a cheap car rental at your own price, find rent-at-your-own-price internet sites that look for the best possible deal with the budget that you’ve given them. They accept a pre-determined budget. This is when you indicate the money you’re willing to spend for the car rental. Most firms will give you the program that has the biggest discount car rental and the best deal for you. Review the company’s history first before you get into it. It pays to know if the company has a history of fraud. Make sure that there are no other cheaper means before you close the deal. Remember, once you make a reservation, you can’t cancel it.

Eighth, instead of picking up your rental at the airport, save money by picking it up at the shop, this will reduce airport surcharges.

Ninth, when you’re planning to use your rental car for five days, or longer, ask the rental car company if you can get discount car rentals for a weekly rate. Most firms will offer discounts for the sixth and seventh day for weekly rentals. With weekly rates, the sixth and seventh day are almost always discounted, so look for this when you’re out for a cheap car rental.

Tenth, ask if you could get discount car rentals if you acquire packages like fly-stay-drive or fly-drive. Look for packages that include air fare, car rental and hotel stay. These give you great discounts on all three. So if you’re planning to do all, I suggest you get a package deal to get the most out of your money.

Town Car Chauffeured Winery Tours

Darioush 4240 Silverado Trail, Napa
Domaine Chandon 1 California Dr, Yountville
Inglenook 1991 St Helena Highway, St Helena
Castello di Amorosa 4045 St Helena Highway, Calistoga

Super limo has been doing wine tours in Napa and Sonoma for more then twenty years. We use town cars, sedans and stretch limos for small groups up to 8 people and buses for up to 28 people.

I chose to publish one town car winery tour that includes four wineries and could be done in 6-8 hours including lunch. For visitors who stay in San Francisco hotels I suggest to leave at 9.00 am so we can be the first guests in Darioush that opens at 10.30 am.

I like Darioush because of its great architecture and it is a great place to start a tour for a new visitor to Napa. It is built in a gorgeous Persian style and many of the materials have also been imported from Persia as well. It is an amazing start to an unforgettable town car winery tour.

Our next stop is Domaine Chandon. I like this winery because of the beautiful surroundings, it is so peaceful to walk around and enjoy the meticulously manicured gardens. It is also world famous for the Domaine Chandon Sparkling Wine Cellars.

The third stop is the luxurious Inglenook Winery. I like this winery because of its beauty and history. It is truly one of the most charming wineries in Napa and is partly owned by Francisco Coppola, the great American Film Director. A great outdoor deck overlooks the sprawling vineyards.

Last stop is the remarkable Castle in Calistoga. This is the busiest winery that I know. It gets a lot of attention because of the unique structure of a great medieval castle sitting and surrounded by wineries at the top of the hill.

Napa is famous not just for wineries but also for good place to dine. Some of the restaurants like the French Laundry requires reservations months ahead of your intended visit. Call us today so we can plan a chauffeured winery tour that you will remember for a lifetime!

Here the list of restaurants that I would recommend:

Rutherford Grill in Rutherford
Bodega on Washington St in Yountville
Bouchon Bistro on Washington St in Yountville also has a great bakery
Auberge de Soleil famous for their delectable desserts
De Luca Deli in St Helena is great for someone on the go for a quick and delicious meal

San Francisco Tourism

Super limo has been in business for more then 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and I can see the changes of the last few years.

Twenty years ago we used to be a very popular destination for people from all over the world. You could hear all the European languages on the streets of San Francisco.

It looks like we lost many European tourists in the last few years due to the Economic situation in Europe and the appreciation of the US dollar. But I believe that the reduction of visits by private people is mainly the result of the booming convention business here and business travel to San Francisco. During the big events at arena’s such as Levi’s Stadium and Candlestick Park it is hard to find hotel room at a reasonable price and every hotel takes advantage of this and raises prices more then 100%!

Since big events also take place in the summer time when families like to go for vacations  we as a city will see the number of families coming here continue to go down. This is very unfortunate and should raise concern in city hall. The debate should not be, “What would we prefer, business travel or tourism”, but instead how to avoid the scams by the hotels in San Francisco that raise prices without being concerned about the future and how to maximize profits now.

How to compete in the age of smartphones and offer the best personalized service to your clients.

Super Limo’s San Francisco Town Car services have been in business since 1993. We  are proud to have provided transportation solutions for tens of thousands of individuals and corporations worldwide. However, our industry landscape has changed in the last three years.

The introduction of non personal internet based services like Uber, Lyft and Side Car has changed the landscape for ‘classic’ livery owners. Many of the companies that based their business model in the metro areas especially in the big cities like New York, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco could see their customers moving to these new-comers to the market and see their businesses suffer. Other companies join forces and use Uber Lyft as a filler. I even tried Uber Lyft two and a half years ago and was disappointed by their management attitude and have since ceased using their services.

The strategies that I employ to help me navigate the rough waters is improving my website content and functionality, advertising with Google and building personal relationship’s with travel agents with an interest in the heart of our local San Francisco livery industry, limousine services, town car services and airport car service providers in the Bay Area and all over the world.

The emphasis now, more then ever before is on fantastic professional drivers, pristine cars, competitive pricing and availability 24 hours a day that leaves nothing but class and smiles for miles at the end of your trip. Instead of shooting to all directions we are laser focused on the above points and pride ourselves in our service offerings to our core clients, individuals and corporations offering town car and limousine services while making myself available for YOUR needs as much as possible.

Who Takes Taxis Anymore? Why Today’s Businessmen Are Using San Francisco Town Car Services

Visualize this: a steady stream of businessmen swinging out to the city sidewalks, making wild gestures at the glowing cab lights in attempts of hailing down a cab.

It’s a charming image, but an antiquated one.

Today’s businessman very rarely takes a cab anymore. Current taxi fares are through the roof, resulting from a mix of politics, and improper pricing practices. Even as the fares go up, people are still paying for the same familiar taxi experience—hidden fees, all the wrong routes, an irate driver, and what is that smell?

For nearly the same price, a San Francisco car service can offer an immaculate town car filled with amenities, and driven by an experienced and professional chauffeur. A town car offers a traveling businessman the reassurance that they will arrive at their destination on-time, stress-free. A town car is a private, secured space where an executive can relax with a drink, or refine his approach for the next business meeting.

In the past, the only reason to resort to taxis instead of a town car was the gap in prices, and that gap no longer exists. Businessmen across America are realizing this, and abandoning traditional cabs in record numbers.

For the most professional and affordable town car services San Francisco has to offer, call our transportation experts. We’re happy to accommodate any special requests, no matter what time of day. Our number is 1-800-840-3133.

The Challenge of Running A Small Business in the Internet Age

When I say “small business,” I mean really small—less than 10 people!

I was introduced to the Internet more than 15 years ago, and I remember my first website: This site was successful without spending any large sums of money; just by being there, we were able to generate traffic , with no budget for advertising, and no social media. The site was doing just fine, capturing leads and advertising the business.

Then, I started my second business Here, I started having problems. I needed to get the site optimized properly. I hired more than three companies to optimize my site, and each time, it cost me thousands of dollars. After a few months, traffic disappeared. Three years ago, I decided to change the name of my original business from Super Connection to Super Limo, and build a new website

This time, AdWords was more viable and the platform was made more accessible for smaller businesses. I was able to generate a good return on investment (ROI) after speaking with representatives at Google and managing the campaign on my own. What’s a good ROI? I am talking about a return averaging nearly four times the original investment! You can monitor and decide the expenses on daily basis, so this gave me the ability to adjust my budget as needed. Looking forward, I decided to combine AdWords with website optimization to maximize organic search traffic. This included social media, articles, blogs, and more.

I am still investing hundreds of dollars on a monthly basis without seeing substantial results. The big question: How long does this continue? Where should I invest my money to see the best return on investment?

For now, I am going to reduce the Google AdWords campaign to that of the web optimization campaign. Hopefully, this combination will allow me to continue moving forward and still generate a decent return.
